Product Overview
This series is a dedicated protection device for 12kV/50Hz outdoor power distribution systems, usually installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers and branch line terminals. It provides overload and short-circuit protection for lines and transformers. The fuse tube drops automatically after fusing to form a visible disconnection point, which also serves as a disconnecting switch for maintenance safety. It is a standard protection device for urban-rural power grids and industrial distribution.
Core Features
Efficient Arc Quenching & Breaking
With a step-by-step exhaust arc-extinguishing tube, it rapidly generates gas for longitudinal arc blowing during fault current interruption. Strong deionization at current zero ensures fast arc extinction without restrike and high breaking reliability.
Dual Insulation Options
Both ceramic insulation (RW series) and silicone rubber composite insulation (HRW series) are available, suitable for traditional rigid installation and high-pollution, lightweight scenarios respectively.
Easy Operation & Maintenance
A visible disconnection point forms automatically after fusing. Fuse replacement is simple and can be operated with an insulating rod, greatly reducing fault outage time.
Superior Outdoor Weatherability
The assembly is anti-aging and UV-resistant, operating stably from -40℃ to +40℃, and adapting to harsh outdoor conditions such as rain, snow and sand.
Main Models
RW12-12/100-200A: Optimized ceramic insulation model with upgraded contact structure, more stable contact and stronger breaking capacity, for conventional 12kV outdoor distribution lines.
HRW12-12/100-200A: Silicone rubber composite insulation model, lightweight, pollution-flashover resistant and aging-resistant, for coastal and industrial areas with high pollution and humidity.
RW10-12/100-200A: Classic ceramic insulation model with mature structure, high versatility and cost advantage, for rural and urban power grid renovation projects.
HRW10-12/100-200A: Classic composite insulation model, lightweight for installation with long maintenance-free cycle, for remote lines with limited operation conditions.
Application Scenarios
Widely used in 10-12kV urban and rural distribution networks, industrial power distribution systems, outdoor pole-mounted transformers and branch lines, as main protection for transformers and lines. It can also be used for short-time switching of small load currents.
